    Jillian Penner

2008 USA Olympic Team

 Jillian is currently training with the 2008 USA Olympic Team in preparation for the Beijing Olympics, after winning GOLD at the Pan American Games in Brazil.  The team also competed in Switzerland, Japan, Moscow and Australia in 2006/2007 and will attend more international competitions between now and the Olympics, including a return to Rio de Janeiro for the FINA World Trophy Cup in October 2007

Past Events

2001 Junior Worlds Presentation
The Senior A Team performed their silver medal team routine for the preliminary team competition. These swimmers also showcased a combination team routine at closing ceremonies. Bill May, and Khadija Strong were special guest performers in the combination routine.

1999 US Olympic Trials
The Olympic Trials Water Show debuted the U.S.S.S. 2000 Olympic Squad. The Pacific Northwest Association swimmers performed five routines, including a special performance by the local fathers, pool managers, and a Tullys Coffee manager. Special guest Bill May also performed.

Aqua Follies
In July of '99 the Seattle Synchronized Swim Team helped the city of Seattle celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Seafair by performing in the Aqua Follies. Over 20 swimmers performed eight routines in four near sold out shows in the waters of Green Lake.
